I am a genealogist, dedicated to connecting people to their ancestral truths by teaching them how to research their own sacred genealogy, and I am the foundress and facilitator of Sacred Roots, a genealogy priest/ess training spiral. I have over two decades of research experience in traditional genealogy and, since 2013, have used genetic genealogy in my work as well. I present lectures and educational workshops world-wide and I provide no-cost genealogy services to Adult Adoptees and Descendants of Enslaved Persons. I am also a direct daughter descendant of the mitochondrial mother of the H1 haplogroup, who I call Halenka.
I am an author. Written under the nom de plume Cairelle Crow, my books include The Magic in Your Genes (Weiser Books, 2023), a genealogy primer for magical people, and Brigid’s Light (Weiser Books, 2022), an anthology co-edited with Laura Hegle (writing as Laura Louella). I have another project in progress that should be out in Autumn 2024.
